After completing this application, submit it and it will be received by the Town Clerk of Joliet. The clerk will forward the application to the town council for review at their next regularly scheduled meeting (the council meets the third Monday of each month). The town council may decline to issue a requested license if its issuance would be detrimental to the public health, welfare and safety or in violation of the town's zoning ordinances, the laws of the United States or the State of Montana.

If your application for business license is approved, please tender the yearly license fee of $75.00 to the town clerk to receive the physical copy of your license. licenses issued after the beginning of the licensing term shall be computed pro rata on the basis of the number of months remaining in the term. In any event, payment of the license fee shall precede issuance of the license.
